The purpose of this page is to let you try out different tunes with various sets of words.

Don’t Be Afraid! This page isn’t as bad as it looks.

This rather complicated looking screen is not as difficult to use as it might look on first impression. If you are running a resolution of at least 800x600 it should work quite nicely. If you are running 640x480 you may have to push some frame boundaries around from time to time.

Here's how to use this page:

• When you choose a set of words from the list in the left window, the words will be displayed in this center window.
• Notice the metre of the words.  (for example, C.M. for Common Metre)  (If you're not familiar with metre, read What Is Metre for a short tutorial)
• You should see a list of tunes in the right window.
• Make sure the metre of the list matches the metre of the words. (If the correct metre is not displayed in the right window, select it from the list of metres at the top of the left window.
• To play one of the tunes, either tab to it and press <Enter> or click on the name. You will be able to listen to the music while you follow along in the words.
